Bruce J. Walz

​

Bruce has lived most of his life in and around Mount Airy, Maryland

​

He has always been interested in photography, beginning with his high school yearbook. He has rekindled this interest later in life.

​

His photographs have been published in magazines including Chesapeake Bay

Magazine where he won awards in the annual photo contest. His subjects include landscapes, nature, wildlife, marine, and aviation, as well as his dog Bentley.

​

Having worked mainly in the digital 35mm format, he has recently returned to “his roots” using film for medium format work. He especially enjoys shooting with his “Baby Graphic” press camera.

Bruce is a retired university professor.
